Be part of the festival's visual language. Design an audiovisual piece that will accompany the music and be shown during FUTUR Festival Mexico 2026.

Guidelines

Open call running from September 28 to October 15, 2026.

Futur Festival Mexico invites artists from all over the world to develop an audiovisual piece that becomes part of the festival's visual identity. We are looking for work that explores the relationship between art, culture and electronic music, where the image also shapes the audience's experience.

The selected proposals will be exhibited during the FUTUR Festival Mexico 2026 edition at Parque Fundidora, Monterrey, and will be assessed by the Creative and Experience team of FUTUR Festival Italia.

Who can take part?

The open call is open to collectives and artists over 18, of any nationality.

The proposal

Each participant must develop a 15-second audiovisual piece, video or animation, for a screen 3 meters high by 1 meter wide (768 x 256 px), visible on all four sides. The proposal must draw on the creative concept of Futur Festival Mexico and meet the technical specifications shared by the organizing committee.

Benefits

The selected pieces will be projected during Futur Festival Mexico 2026 with their author's name as part of the exhibition, with coverage in national and international media and of the creative process on FUTUR Festival Mexico's official channels, plus a certificate of participation and two VIP Premium passes (flights and lodging not included).

Selected projects will move on to a second review stage with the creative committee before the final delivery.

General terms

Pieces must respect the technical and conceptual specifications set by Futur Festival Mexico.

The selected works will be exclusive to Futur Festival Mexico 2026 and their authors will assign the exhibition and distribution rights for purposes related to promoting the festival.

Taking part implies acceptance of the terms and conditions, as well as the signing of the corresponding confidentiality agreement.

Participation in this open call is collaborative and does not include financial compensation for the selected projects.
