Metrika is a Mexico City-based producer who has been releasing music since the 1990s on labels including Crosstown Rebels, Hot Waves, My Favorite Robot and Sol Selectas. Considered one of the pioneers of electronic music in Mexico, his career has taken him to major festivals worldwide, including MUTEK, Day Zero, Ultra and EDC.
His sound moves between house and techno, driven by intricate percussion, subharmonic bass, detailed samples and funky rhythms. Known for his immersive live performances, Metrika also explores his creativity through cinematography, collaborating on multiple film projects as he continues to expand his artistic language beyond music.
