Echonomist is the alias of Greek producer, DJ and live artist Petros Manganaris, known for his eclectic approach to electronic music and his constant exploration of sound. Born and raised in Thessaloniki, his fascination with synthesizers began at an early age and has remained at the core of his creative process, shaping a sound that moves freely between melodic, atmospheric and club-driven territories.
His productions have appeared on influential labels including Innervisions, Afterlife, Kompakt and TAU, earning support from artists such as Dixon, Âme and Tale Of Us. His Panic Attack EP on Afterlife became one of the label’s standout releases, while his work with Innervisions includes the Virtuality and Night Versions EPs. With performances at Hï Ibiza, Fabric London, Zamna Tulum, Caprices Festival and Burning Man, Echonomist continues to establish himself as one of Greece’s most distinctive voices in contemporary electronic music.
