ÂME DJ

Âme is the German duo of Frank Wiedemann and Kristian Beyer, whose symbiotic approach to music has made them one of the most distinctive acts in contemporary electronic music. Based near Karlsruhe in Germany’s Black Forest, the duo combines Frank’s work as a producer and live performer with Kristian’s vision as a DJ, creating a sound shaped by deep melodies, intricate rhythms and constant experimentation.

Their creative partnership extends beyond music through Innervisions, the influential label they founded in 2005. What began as a platform for their shared musical vision has grown into a wider ecosystem encompassing publishing, events, distribution and artist representation. Across their releases, marathon DJ sets and live performances, Âme continue to explore new forms of electronic music while maintaining the attention to detail that defines their work.

MARCEL DETTMANN

Marcel Dettmann is one of the most influential figures in contemporary techno, closely associated with Berlin’s Berghain and the legendary record store and label Hard Wax. Raised in the former GDR, his early influences ranged from post-punk and industrial to Depeche Mode, The Cure and Front 242, before discovering the Chicago and Detroit sounds that shaped his approach to techno.

A longtime resident of Berghain and a key figure in Berlin’s electronic music scene, Dettmann has released music on Ostgut Ton and his own MDR label, while producing remixes for artists including Moderat, Fever Ray, Junior Boys and Laibach. His work also extends beyond the club, with collaborations across contemporary dance, visual art and film. As a DJ, he is known for sets that move between raw techno, Chicago influences and unexpected emotional moments, always balancing his roots with a constant drive for innovation.
