Carl Craig is one of the most influential figures in Detroit techno, whose pioneering work has inspired generations of artists and listeners around the world. His multidisciplinary approach extends from electronic music to audiovisual installations, academic work and socially conscious projects, including his Party/After Party installation and All Black Vinyl series.

As the founder of Planet E Communications and Detroit Love, Craig continues to champion Detroit’s musical heritage while connecting it with artists and audiences worldwide. His career has included performances at venues such as Royal Albert Hall, the Barbican and Carnegie Hall, as well as the documentary Desire: The Carl Craig Story. With a constant drive for experimentation and innovation, he continues to expand the legacy of Detroit techno.

Kenny Dixon Jr., better known as Moodymann, is one of the most enigmatic and influential figures in house music. A defining voice in Detroit’s electronic music heritage, his sound blends deep house, techno, soul, jazz and R&B through masterful sampling, low-slung basslines and unconventional drum programming. His work has appeared on influential labels including Peacefrog, Planet E and his own KDJ and Mahogani Music imprints, where his unmistakable style has become a defining force in underground dance music.

From early releases and classic 12-inches to acclaimed albums including Silentintroduction, Moodymann, Sinner and Taken Away, Dixon Jr. has continually evolved while maintaining a deep connection to the roots of Afro-American music. Tracks such as “Sunday Morning” and “Shades of Jae” have cemented his status as a Detroit house institution, while his refusal to conform to the traditional rules of the industry has only strengthened the mystery surrounding his work.
